Meet our Arcon People Committee

This Committee has devolved responsibility from the Group Board of Bolton at Home Limited for:

  • All HR matters relating to Non Executive members and the Executive Team, having considered independent advice (when required) and taken into account good practice;
  • high level HR strategy and consultation arrangements;
  • ensuring that the society maintains the highest standards of HR, taking account of best practice;
  • participating in panels or hearings as required by any relevant HR policy;
  • effective working relationships between the Group Board, employees and the Secretary;

Amanda Moat

Amanda Moat

Amanda joined our Board in March 2018. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, a Member of the Institute of Risk Management and a Volunteer for North West's Change Management Institute with over 12 years delivering Strategic Agendas on Executive Boards for Insurance, Financial and Legal Service Sectors. She holds an International Diploma for Risk Management awarded by the IRM. Amanda now works as a consultant specialising in Governance, Risk, Compliance and Transformation.

Laura Dalton

Laura Dalton

With a specialism in estate and tenant management, community development, and leading on organisational change, Laura is a highly motivated housing management professional with fifteen years experience successfully ensuring consistency in all areas of service delivery across a varied remit at both strategic and operational levels. Laura has worked for a number of registered providers over the course of her career, and has a passion for community development and tenant empowerment. 

Peter Styche

Peter Styche

A former senior civil servant with a wide range of experience in housing, regeneration and planning policy development and implementation, primarily at regional and sub regional level.  Peter developed a broad knowledge of the housing issues affecting the North West and retains a strong commitment to the region. He is a strong advocate of customer scrutiny and involvement and strong, effective governance.

Peter was instrumental in developing the close working relationship with Golden Gates Housing Trust, which culminated in the creation of Torus in 2015.  He has only recently stood down from positions on the Board of Torus and as Chair of Helena Partnerships Board, having completed just over 9 years Board membership at Helena.

Peter has been a Board member at Bolton at Home since 2018 and nominated Arcon Board member since May 2019.
