- The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice.
- Consumer Credit Counselling Service
- If you are seeking help with your debts, make sure you don’t have to pay for it. Charities such as the Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) can provide you with all the services, help and support you need to be debt free without costing you a penny. To get started, use their online assessment tool, CCCS Debt Remedy, which will give you personalised budgeting and free debt advice specific to your situation. You can also call the freephone helpline 0800 138 1111 to speak to a Debt Counsellor.

- Age UK

- The new regulator for social housing, which took over much of the regulatory powers of the Housing Corporation.
- Housing Corporation
- The Housing Corporation was the non-departmental public body that funds and regulates housing associations in England. It has now been superceded by the Tenant Service Authority and the Homes & Communities Agency. The old Housing Corporation website is still accessible and contains information that has not yet been moved to the TSA or HCA sites.
- Homes & Communities Agency
- The Homes and Communities Agency is the new non-departmental public body that funds new affordable housing in England.
- Housing Ombudsman Service
- The Housing Ombudsman Service considers complaints against member organisations, and deals with other housing disputes.

- The National Housing Federation supports and promotes the work that housing associations does and campaigns for better housing and neighbourhoods.
